The Euroradio Classics section develops classical music, jazz and cultural projects, coordinates Members' exchange of music programmes, defends Members' interests in music and culture, shares information, ideas and experiences regarding Classical Music and Cultural Radio Channels.

The Euroradio is defined as the technical part of international exchanges of high quality digital sound programmes. The Euroradio policy and finance are under the supervision of the Euroradio Users' Group and managed by the Euroradio/Classics section. Euroradio is also a brand for the most prestigious concerts exchanged between EBU Radio organizations and for radio programme exchanges.

The music and jazz projects, as well as the operations are directed by the Music Group, composed of a Group Manager, a Deputy Group Manager and eleven members, elected for a renewable two-year term of office.

The Music Group meets twice a year and convenes a Specialized Meeting once a year, to which EBU Active and Associate Members meet for group discussions and decide on political issues.

The Euroradio/Classics section also manages the International Relations web site and Group activities.
